What made you decide on having a destination wedding?

Bride: We decided to have a destination wedding because of the ease of planning. We are big travelers so it was just like wanting to have a big family vacation.

What made you decide on the destination/resort/venue?

Bride:  There are lots of good reviews and feedback from the resort, so that made us feel comfortable choosing it.

What was the biggest difficulty in planning your destination wedding?

Bride:  The biggest difficulty was figuring out how to get everything over there. We had at least 4 luggages with gifts for the guests, suit, dress, centerpieces, wedding topper, etc.

What was the highlight of the experience and what was the biggest surprise?
Bride: The highlight of the destination was actually seeing everything put together for the ceremony and reception.  It was everything I imagined and more. The biggest surprise was everyone still getting together almost everyday. The resort was not too big or not too small.
How well was the resort and your On site Wedding Coordinator to work with?

Bride:  It was a breeze to work with the wedding coordinator and the resort . She was great and did everything I asked .

If your best friend were planning a destination wedding what would your advice be to her?

Bride:  My advise for a friend on planning a destination wedding – pack way in advance. Especially if you’re doing gifts for the guests, centerpieces, etc.

Was there anything that you would change looking back?

Bride:  I would only change the room situation. We went from deluxe room to honeymoon suite, husband switched to groomsman room, back to honeymoon suite. It was a lot of re-packing and unpacking .

Made this wedding quite the splash!

In Brittany’s words

We had a blast at the Excellence with our family and friends & on our honeymoon.  Everyone was delightful, the service was excellent, and the Dominican is gorgeous.  We even had the chance to walk the beach from the Zoetry to Dreams and see some other resorts.  We think we chose the right one!

A letter from the lovely bride.

Well now that the wedding is done, the reception complete, presents opened, thank you cards mailed and all the decorations have been put away, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Not just a thank you for your help, but rather many thank yous for your amazing service, you by far have exceeded the expectations not only for myself but for all those who traveled with us to the Dominican Republic. It was a picture perfect trip with a picture perfect wedding. Breathless was an amazing resort and was better than I could imagine. Not a single thing went wrong for us, honest. Truly a perfect time, and Natalia with Breathless was awesome. She handled everything, I mean every detail down to who sits where and other silly little things that she knew mattered to us.
Terrah you are an amazing person with a knack for detail and superior customer service, I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work.  It was awesome to see you there in the Dominican Republic. You deserve nothing but the best that life has to offer!

Love U!
